MAUI ARTS
AND CULTURAL CENTER The Maui Arts and Cultural Center is where the greatest number of performances on Maui take place. The Center has two theaters, the Castle Theater which seats 1200 and the intimate "black box" McCoy Studio Theater which seats a maximum of 300. For festival style performances, the outdoor Alexander & Baldwin Amphitheater has capacity of 5000. Click here for upcoming performances listed in a new window on the Center's site. MAUI ONSTAGE AT THE IAO The historic Iao Theater in Wailuku hosts some of the best performers anywhere in a selection of plays matching the mainland theater scene. The 2001-2002 season runs through June. Click here for the current performance schedule. |
